As a woman, I'm painfully aware that while all men are shaped by the privilege of their gender, some men of color have seized on that privilege as compensation for the disempowerment they suffer based on race.
And as an Anglo woman, I know damn' well I have to fight the same phenomenon in reverse, not to mention the fear-mongering that goes with feelings of vulnerability added to the intrinsic racism of white privilege.
Until we ALL can address BOTH racism AND misogyny, simultaneously, we'll leave that fault line exposed to the money and power of the white patriarchy.
