We've had some of Harvey, Irma & Jose but not too bad because we did not get directly hit. Harvey caused the most damage here.

Maria - supposedly only a cat 1 last night - was the worst so far for us . It hit us more directly. (we've been lucky).

We've given up taking down most of the boards protecting the windows. Looks like they're permanent during hurricane season souped up by climate change. Too much work to put them on and take them off.

We have friends in the islands we have not been able to reach for weeks. Some places like British Virgin Islands, etc are so devastated. I don't know how people are going to be able to live on those islands long term if this is what they'll face each year.

I'd love to get a few of these climate change deniers and strap them to the boards covering our windows and then, after the hurricane passes, have them try to convince me climate change is all a hoax. This is not normal for people who have been living here all their lives.
