That is also a reason and because of that people aren't willing to pay huge sums for a lower quality of play.
I think they would get fans in if teams would lower their ticket prices. Teams can afford this because ticket revenue only makes of a small portion of their overall revenue. TV rights are where the huge bucks are.

LA has never even been able to support 1 NFL team...I don't know who thought they could support TWO
