The (Spanos) could have built a new venue themselves and had it paid for in 3-5 years or so. Robert Kraft did that and it would have worked here in San Diego. He wasn't willing to spend any of his own money on that. He wanted the city to pay for it and it was voted down.
San Diego needs to spend its money on infrastructure and other necessities. Not a stadium.
So he said fuck you to the loyal fans of 56 years and took off.

What's funny now is that the grocery, convenience and liquor stores are handing out LA Rams schedules down here in SD.
