57. I "unfriended" someone I've known for 25 years...

...for similar reasons.

But "unfriend" is a loaded term facebook uses to coerce you into maintaining a large network, thus increasing the network effect.

I told him I was simply returning our friendship to its pre-facebook status.

He hasn't spoke to me since.
