Are we going to pretend that might doesn't make right in third world countries? That we're supposed to be proud that nobody is above OR below the law in the US. I know it's all the rage for many on the left to pretend the US is the scourge of the planet but it does make it hard to explain why so many people risk their lives to come here every single day when where they came from must be some kind of paradise simply because it's not the US.

Go ahead and pretend it's skin color. Of course, that would mean there are zero brown people who do things legally when it comes to immigration. Is that really the claim you want to argue with me?

I know these are uncomfortable truths for many on the far left but don't even bother trying to shame me - I don't give people who pretend up is down that kind of power.
