6. This is a sad time in our country.

The goal, in accordance with Republican beliefs, is to strip any federal govt involvement in providing anything to people who don't have the money to buy it retail. Those people, in their view, are deadbeats, scammers, parasites, living off the hard work and benefits of the Republicans...the productive ones.

They can't do it for everything, but they try. Social Security, Medicare, regular insurance, disability, living assistance, food stamps, public education....everything.
