Dems UNLOADING on Romney [View all]

Dems UNLOADING on Romney

by brooklynbadboy

The Obama Campaign and the Democratic National Committee are continuing to take the fight HARD to a feckless Romney Campaign.

First, Chicago:

And then the DNC:

Quick and Dirty analysis:

The Obama ad will run in Pennsylvania where Mitt Romney happens to be campaigning today. Now, I'm probably alone in this, but I also feel like the issue of President Obama's burn rate is silly. President Obama is absolutely right to unload his entire fucking budget on Romney right now. Don't worry about that "people not paying attention" crap. That's the stupid strategy the Romney campaign thinks is working. What President Obama is doing is shaping the contours of the election and keeping the Romney campaign from ever getting a toehold anywhere.

These ads are not aimed at Romney voters. They are aimed mainly at the political establishment, but in the case of the Obama Campaign, politically interested folks who voted for Obama last time. Think of it as sort of an immunity vaccine. Remember, all President Obama has to do to win is get all the people who voted for him last time to vote for him again. It is Romney who has to peel those Obama voters away, but can't seem to get a toehold anywhere because Obama is hammering his fingers.
