Trumpy would be filing for another bankruptcy if it weren't for the GOP. They helped him and they still do, and they do it happily. Don't just rag on Trumpy. He's got billions behind him in the form of GOP politicians and donors, as well as Vlad Putin and his band of Oligarchs.
