People should be fully acquainted with the risks though, and vested interests shouldn't be able to buy their way out of the problem of CTE. I think those are progressive notions.

The OP is wrong about where the game is headed, so the fans shouldn't worry their CTE-free heads none. But, make no mistake, the ongoing worship of American football in the face of non-refutable scientific evidence of its destructiveness will be a telling part of the tale of how this country lost its mind in the 21st century.
