Democrats Are Coming For Jared Kushner As Investigation Launched Into His Use Of Private Email

Top House Oversight Committee Democrat, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) has launched an investigation into Jared Kushner’s use of private email.


In a letter to Kushner, Cummings wrote, “Before requesting copies or calling for the public release of all official emails you sent or received on your personal email account, I first request that you preserve all official records and copies of records in your custody or control and that you provide the information requested below. Your actions in response to the preservation request and the information you provide in response to this letter will help determine the next steps in this investigation.”

There is a legitimate issue with Kushner that didn’t exist during the bogus Republican Clinton email scandal. Jared Kushner is a senior adviser to the President Of The United States who is under federal investigation for potential collusion with Russia. Kushner has already been forced to admit that he didn’t properly disclose meetings with Russians on his security clearance forms.

The precedent for investigations into the use of private email was established by these same Republicans when they went after Hillary Clinton for her use of a personal email server. The Clinton scandal is coming back to haunt Republicans in ways that they could have never imagined. Kushner appears to be in violation of the Presidential Records Act of 2014 that was passed after Hillary Clinton left her position as Secretary of State.

Democrats are coming for Trump’s favorite son in law because unlike Hillary Clinton, Jared Kushner is breaking the law.
