8. Canadian Law. They don't allow convicted felons to cross their borders without pre-authorization.

It's an old law, too. Back in the late 60's, we'd be asked at the border crossing when we used to go up to Vancouver BC for a weekend soccer tournament my brother's team used to play in every fall.
