Has an encyclopedic knowledge that shows in his work. His commentaries are always at a higher level than "_____ needs to learn how execute in the red zone". He is also the only TV guy I've seen who always pronounces the names of Texas towns correctly, even dinky ones (like Mexia and Waxahatchie).
