Paint him as someone who will attempt to outlaw other forms of Christianity than his view. What is he anyway? Baptist? If he is, make the claim that he will try to outlaw other Christian religions in favor of Baptists.

It doesn't matter if it can be proven or not, just make the accusation. There are a TON of Catholics in Alabama especially down on the coast. Not to mention the Pentacostals, Church of Christer, Methodists, etc. Restart the 100 Years' War in Alabama. That's what it would boil down to anyway if the Evangelicals got control of political power.
