A previous poster did the research--not up in the air, but rather from their own website:

From the ActBlue website under "Pricing." "We make it easy for you to build your online fundraising program in no time, whether you’re running a national operation or launching your own campaign for city council. We charge a flat rate of 3.95% on each donation you receive to cover the processing cost."

But if that works for you, by all means continue with it, and I'll continue to send my checks. The main thing is that our candidates get our support, and 92.5% of a contribution helps a whole lot more than none at all.
