Of the infrastructure were still somewhat working. I had food and water. But still it all gets to you after a while. The destruction everywhere, the inconvenience, the heat, the long nights waiting for sunrise so you can start all over again and hope that you start to see something normal again. I cannot fathom how demoralizing and heartbreaking it is to lose EVERYTHING you own and compound that with the death and destruction everywhere you look like the people of Puerto Rico are facing. But the comments by tRump were just unnecessay and cruel. He has no capacity for just plain human decency. How can you kick people when they are down like that?
He has cooked his own goose. Yes, some will defend what he has said about the Puerto Ricans but the vast majority of us are feeling empathy for them and are heartbroken at their loss. He may not regret what he has said but we won't forget it. He will forever be tainted by his cruel and vicious comments about the people of Puerto Rico who also happen to be American citizens.
I know he is a sick man, incapable of normal human emotions. But damn. Even if he had to fake it, just keep his sickening thoughts to himself, can he not do that? Since he is so interested in what is good for HIM, can he not see how destructive those comments are to him?? Just count me in the baffled. I just can't even begin to understand how you get to be 71 years old and not figure out that saying these awful things about people who have been devastated will not work in his favor. Just shaking my head.....

His lack of response, I'm beginning to think is a knowing act of passive genocide on his part.
