1. He's such a germaphobe, I'd be shocked if he even gets off of the plane.

A flyover, perhaps? But, if he does de-plane, it will be a quick trip to a very secluded, high security area, away from everything he SHOULD be seeing, and he will be on site for as short a period of time, as he can manage.
