3. Couldn't live without Twitter

I find Twitter to be absolutely essential. You only see the tweets of the people you follow*, so I have a very small and select few that I follow. I always know immediately if something big happens. And I mean immediately, with no delay. I can follow on my PC or on my phone. When I'm out, I'm always connected. And I'm not harassed with nonsense because I follow so few people. And I like that the tweets are pushed to me. I don't have to do anything, unlike for example having to open a browser and load (or constantly refresh) a webpage (like DU).

And I almost never tweet anything. However, anyone can communicate with "famous" people, like for example your favorite actors on TV shows. Some of them, and people like Josh Marshall, etc. have responded or retweeted me occasionally. It is nice to be able to communicate like that.

*You can also create separate groups of users whose tweets you can see in separate scrollable lists. This is useful because since you aren't following them, their tweets don't show up in your main feed. You only see them when you want to.
