These people shoot people with guns, and not bananas or hair dryers, guns they make an effort to hide before the shooting, and they try to kill themselves at the end, I have yet to hear of a mass shooter who is shocked that he's not being given a parade and proclaimed the leader of the free world for his actions.
From what I've seen of mental illness and looking at the average spree killer (Unbelievable to say there is an 'average' spree killer BTW), they don't seem that separated from reality... if at all.

Suitcases can hold more than just clothes. I've NEVER had a hotel inspect my luggage.
