although i don't quite buy the "trump repurposed it for his own ends".

donnie is really just the obvious product of that epistemology.

he's a rich white christian man whose learned all he feel he needs to know about politics, government, etc., simply by watching foxnews.

how could that bubble produce anything but someone like donnie?
