2. White males threatened by a society evolving and becoming more civilized.

As females and non-whites gain basic human rights, and enter mainstream America, white males see this as a loss to them, in part due to the relentless GOP propaganda machine. Instead of realizing that when a society
allows all people to reach their full potential, it is a win for all.
