5. This is very consistent IMO. Their goal during a democratic presidency is to kill policy agenda.

Their goal with a Republican presidency is to starve the government of money by redirecting it to their political donors thus leaving the deficit in such bad shape that they demonize the vulnerable who depend on government programs as the reason for the deficit ills. By starving the government of revenue they create an environment ripe for cutting programs. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING INCONSISTENT WITH THEIR BEHAVIOR. THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN THEIR STRATEGY !!!
