6. It would be ugly. But it was still bad back in the 1950s

when I was growing up. I still remember seeing new reports of people yelling in hatred at little kids going to previously all white schools, lynchings, beating including by police, etc. But, at least no one cut loose on the crowds in Washington with modified automatic weapons and bombs. Churches were bombed, MLK assaisinated, etc., but it would be worse today because haters have the weapons.
