The word "bane" has always meant something horrible, awful, to be avoided at all costs. The "bane" of his life. Heard that expression since I was a small child. What's with Limbaugh? Is his education so limited?
And Romney? Why was the company named "Bain" sounding like "bane"?
You can't name a company "bane" and expect people to think it is something good.
