11. Don't be shamed

Woody's trying to shame liberals by using the "witch hunt" term, as in mob vengeance, scapegoating, primitive vigilante justice. He tried to shame Mia because he was her meal ticket. He tried to shame Dylan for being too young and stupid to know what happened to her. Ronan, my new hero, isn't buying any of it. He stood by his sister and doesn't care that his father supported him financially. He exposed Weinstein even though Weinstein gives millions to Ronan's favorite political party and various worthy charities.

Woody and the other abusers want us to be too cool for social censure. Worried much?
