His off-the-cuff answers have blown up in his face so many times, but he refuses to actually learn anything before opening his mouth and letting the stupid fall out. This time someone was on top of it for a change, and caught him in the lie in real time. The media should be relentless on Trump and his administration mouthpieces about why he shoots his mouth off so often without knowing what the facts are.
