Fake president Trump wanted the plane to land on the 18th. fairway so that he could "honor" the soldiers, as well as provide him the opportunity to honor the United States military by bouncing a golf ball off of the windshield of the military airplane, and then dedicate his "par" for the hole to the families that "knew what they had signed-up for" when they had children in the military.

CORRECTION: It was probably NOT a "par" - but rather, a birdie, because "he" has the bestest, greatest shots on the courses that he owns, as well as he's the one keeping score.
