If you did, you would see in every stump speech that he has made, and in some cases, he'll do 3 speeches a day when on the road... he HAS said what you recommend, over and over. Many of the Weekly Radio addresses (which also include a video for viewing on the internet) also make the same arguments.
Whenever the surrogates are on the cable news shows - and many are actually members of Congress themselves - the subject of GOP blocking legislation is always mentioned.
I suppose those who don't watch tv and only listen to music or iPods probably wouldn't hear any politics.
