He really does only hire his "friends." When it comes to surgery, dentistry, airplane pilots, tax returns, or even cooking dinner, I choose an expert over my friends. This fool doesn't.

And I think you're right that none of the family sees this as real: They've been jetting around in their magic sandboxes, wheeling and dealing off the impression of the name for so long, they've lost touch with reality.

How else could the wife of the worst bully in the world go on an anti-bullying campaign???

This is as bad or worse than big brother or survivor or american idol: Those people knew it was only a tv show: The plan was to watch them fail.

This fool has no idea his entire life is a failure. And it's all blowing up now, and it's real.
