He's been working the New York state AG and prosecutors along with everyone else. Dear Leader can't be sure someone isn't going to be indicted on a state charge. If he fires Mueller, he's risking the biggest shit storm ever (the biggest, most tremendous, the very best, believe me) and it could all be for nothing.
