Believe it or not, I've heard republicans insist that this proves he must have quashed investigations or even threatened to kill people in order to cover up crimes by him and his circle.

I jokingly try to get them to admit that at least that must mean he was very good at it and they won't even grant that, they just insist that it was the liberal media that lets him get away with it!

These people really do live in a fantasy world!
