8. At this stage, you really don't need an expensive attorney.

He turned himself in and was released on bond. There's not much return on investment paying a big ticket lawyer.

Down the road, maybe, but today was just a formality. I'm not even sure if the right to an attorney attaches until after he's formally charged and bail is set.
