Showing Original Post only (View all)People hate Hillary for a simple reason. And it has nothing to do with her or with politics. [View all]
They don't hate her because of her politics or her gender or this neverending feeling that there must be a scandal about her.
It's much simpler: They hate her because she's a celebrity.
Ordinary people are unimportant nobodies.
But people want to be recognized, people want to feel important.
That's why people prefer to believe in conspiracy-theories:
If there is no conspiracy, then you are an insignificant nobody.
If there is a conspiracy, then you are a hero fighting against evil.
That's why people become online-trolls:
They don't actually care that much for whatever topic they are posting about.
It's about the thrill of the fight, about "triggering" somebody and dragging them into a flame-war.
It's like a drug: A cheap victory. And they need their fix.
The worst you can do to these people is engaging them in a calm, factual conversation where you demonstrate your superiority over them by NOT freaking out.
And it's why people hate Hillary Clinton:
Hillary Clinton is a celebrity, you are a nobody.
If Hillary Clinton is evil, then opposing her makes you a hero.
If it weren't Hillary Clinton, it would be somebody else.
People hate her to give their empty, boring lifes a sense of excitement and importance.
