Breitbart is going to his daughter, so it stays in the family to carry on the "message" Which is why Milo is out.

Stepping down from his role in the company in January. Gives them and him time for a smooth transition. He gets input on who will succeed him.

my second option is he knows he will get indicted and wants his political and financial empire to be shielded and left intact as much as he can.
