Born and raised in OK. College and grad school in TX and CA. Lived 20+ yrs in IA. Back in OK since 89.

Think OK was saner in 40s and 50s. But I was a kid then.

IA was sane when we moved there in 68, but religious right had taken over the GOP by the time I moved back to OK jn 89.

GOP essentially destroyed life in IA and wrecks havoc in OK. Let alone what they have done to NC and WI. The attacks on the great universities in those 2 states is horrendous.
