4. i was informally reprimanded at my work some 4 years ago

because I answered a question in a meeting with the phrase

"We could ask that new girl in Product Management to help out"

referring to a new person right out of college (21 or 22). I am in my mid fifties.

Yeah, I deserved the mild reprimand.

But what the hell is going on in the rest of America?
