4:12 p.m. - A letter in Sandusky's handwriting: "I write because you mean so much to us. I write because you mean so much to all of us…I write because of the churning in my stomach when you don't care…. You like to express yourself in a straightforward manner….we seem to be a convenience….You don't understand or choose not to care about loyalty, motivation or caring….on the surface this may appear to work for you…we could be wrong, but don't believe that this work. Our experience shows otherwise…if you cannot care you will not be able to live up to the expectations. You so-called best friends will vanish…you might want to stop to think about true happiness…It's your life, you can continue as you have…we'd love to be a part of your life but that's your choice…we want to always be there for you."
