(22,651 posts)I don't know about Bernie in 2020, that man has an energy stronger then some people half his age. Age isn't really linear in humans, plenty of people are over the hill in 50s, while others are top of the heap 90s+. He can choose his own retirement day.
So, in your opinion Hillary wasn't 'authentic', no honesty in the campaign. While I saw a competent leader of a very well organized campaign(100s of people). To me Hillary acted presidential during her campaign, typical for her she didn't even share a serious illness (pneumonia) or break down in public tears over the constant RW pogrom against her personally.
To me she is still the same genuine person, she was in 1969- just a lot more experienced at delegating the work, an extremely competent seasoned Leader.
Wellesley College is releasing audio excerpts of a 21-year-old Hillary Rodham Clinton speaking at her 1969 commencement. The class selected Clinton as Wellesley's first-ever student commencement speaker. Clinton discussed leadership, the political climate in the 1960s and making the art of the impossible, possible.
