Bernie would have beaten Trump.Hillary with Bernie as running mate would have beaten Trump. If the DNC wasn't so corrupt and the Hillbots could actually process "what happened" and actually take responsibility then the Dems would have a chance of winning, in the future. Hilary was a weak and corrupt candidate, and that got us to Trump. There is a direct connection.
