(96,677 posts)29. 6 weeks. Adverse reaction to cancer treatment.
Spent a month in the hospital, diagnosed as both malnourished and anorexic (lost a dangerous amount of weight), and had to take nourishment through IV and injections. Came close to organ failure and death. Had 6 doctors on my case.
