1. Paper ballots were used in Virginia

It's been mentioned in previous posts on DU that Virginia required voting on paper ballots in Tuesday's election. Paper ballots are difficult to hack (unlike electronic voting machines) and also provide back-up in case a recount should be needed. Not mentioned in the article by Forward Progressive, but it's important nonetheless.

Until the electronic voting machines can be proven to be unhackable (which will probably never happen) we should go back to paper ballots in every state and county. There's no reason why it couldn't be done before next year's election in November 2018. Democrats need to make this a priority in every state.

Just remember that the GOP has to cheat in order to win. They're always looking for ways to game the system and electronic voting machines are one of the biggest ways they can cheat. Gerrymandering is another one, but that can't be fixed for a few years.
