I had an issue with being ordered to receive an experimental "swine flu shot" under G Ford's tenure.
It just didn't seem "American." I'd never even heard of "swine flu!"
The captain of the ship informed me that technically I was government property and they could order me to do just about anything, and if I went on shore leave and got a debilitating sun burn, I could be charged with "destruction of government property."
"But my heart still belonged to momma!"
