From what I understand, it's incredibly important to get onboard with any and all progressive legislation, even if it's not really possible right now, or you are exposed as an establishment shill.

I certainly wouldn't think any progressive would want to be seen as an NRA shill, let alone an opportunist who put the wishes of their constituents ahead of what is best for the country in order to get re-elected.

That is unthinkable in a true progressive, I'm told.
