Me campaigning for Kerry - and remaining silent on the marriage discrimination amendment when I knocked on doors because I knew that many Kerry voters would be offended at my marriage and I might do more harm than good by raising the issue.

Or, more to the point, no more incongrous than me - a rape survivor - voting for Bill Clinton - when there were allegations of sexual harassment against him. (Clinton v. Jones)

Unfortunately, life is not a nice tidy package for women - and some otherwise good men are sexually aggressive, at a minimum, and predators at worst. While I disagree with Moore's accuser's support of Trump, and find him offensive for all sorts of reasons, I can understand that she voted for someone whose principles she otherwise supported in spite of his sexually aggressive behavior. Although we are political opposites, I have been forced to make the same choice.
