faculty and research associates rostered in 13 departments and institutes. Neuroscience activities on the campus are coordinated by the Center for Neuroscience. The University of Colorado at Boulder offers a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, as well as graduate and undergraduate Certificates in Neuroscience that can be combined with a variety of majors."

The Center for Neuroscience

The Center for Neuroscience serves as a nodal administrative structure whose purposes are to organize and foster the development of neuroscience research and teaching at CU Boulder. The Center faculty members are affiliated with 13 different Departments and Institutes at CU Boulder. The Center for Neuroscience:

Administers the CU Boulder Neuroscience Ph.D. program
Fosters inter-disciplinary across-department research and interaction
Obtains both federal and corporate funds to support the development of neuroscience at CU Boulder
Acts as a focal point for interaction with the neuroscience community at large such as national organizations and programs at other universities
Fosters interest in neuroscience among the undergraduates at CU Boulder
