Franken asked for an inquiry, let it play out.

If it was an attempt at humor then not a big issue. Assuming the photo was just part of a joke and he didn't slip his tongue in her mouth then it nothing more than a made up controversy.

If he did it, then he deserves the shit storm. But we don't have enough info yet to make a call. He apologized for what we know has happened. Again, if that was all that happened then it is nothing. But if there is more then we have to deal with the fallout.

My bet, it was nothing more than an attempt at humor, from what we know about Franken he likes to be funny, but he has no history of this type of behavior.

Again, let it play out, if he is not being fully truthful, then he needs to take the punishment.
