10. I think the motivation wasn't sexual gratification...the vest would have prevented that

However, the motivation could possibly be to humiliate, objectify, and take advantage of her, which is probably worse. Rape isn't a crime of sex, it's a crime of power and control. While this isn't rape, it could certainly come from the same place.

Especially in the context of the alleged spurned advances.
