Something to keep in mind about Comedy

7. I have respected him as a Senator,

and admit that I never knew much about his comedy. I have started reading much more about it, including Newsweek. http://www.newsweek.com/franken-jokes-sexual-misconduct-women-713678

Now--some of it has been obviously waaaaaaaay too far.

He wrote an article for New York Magazine that included this passage:

“And, ‘I give the pills to Lesley Stahl. Then, when Lesley’s passed out, I take her to the closet and rape her,’” Franken said. “Or, ‘that’s why you never see Lesley until February.’ Or, ‘when she passes out, I put her in various positions and take pictures of her.’”

To me, this is absolutely chilling. I wonder how Lesley Stahl felt about it? I wonder if she saw the 'humor?' Nothing funny about rape. Ever.
