There are a handful of attacks on Franken but more well-founded attacks on the various misogynistic defenses being unnecessarily raised on his behalf.

Al Franken issued perhaps the most appropriate, not to mention politically brilliant, apology for the only credible (at this point - and I have a feeling at any point) allegation against him -- staging and participating in the photo we've all seen. Certain DUers jumped in with a Carville-esque barrage of misogynistic garbage about her appearing in Playboy etc., a Republican-lite "she's a liar because she's a Republican" crap that the women who had the courage to come forward about that trash rapist Moore have had to endure and/or an Alex Jones level conspiracy theory about fake photos..

Al Franken is a genius. Both those saying "he should resign" and those who feel compelled to make us look like fools by not letting Franken handle it need to read what he said.
