12. Skyward-suck economics

The near-religious view that ultimate good is to send money skyward: as much as possible, as fast as possible, as high as possible. Any impediment, any bottleneck, anything that slows that process down is an anathema. Call those impediments Liberalism, socialism, even communism, but any constraint on maximized profit is a threat to The Way Things Ought To Be.

After all, it’s not “redistribution” if you call it “maximized profit” and “dividends”, right?
